The Coding Module facilitates individual coding and billing entities with the assignment of the appropriate coding of both facility and professional services. Every record is accessible remotely and securely.
Registrations assignment of the patient´s Medical Record and account number can be done in the HIS and transmitted to the EDIS system by HL7 ADT Messages.
During system downtime or a disaster it is possible to register a patient directly in the EDIS using downtime Medical Records and account numbers.
To assist in receiving accurate reimbursement, our system currently shows suggested E&M level and ICD-9 codes with the ability of a coder to override.
