The Poseidon Group, Inc. was founded in 1998 by emergency physicians that understood the need for better documentation in the emergency department. All product content is developed by residency trained board certified emergency physicians.

Our first product, Navigator PC™ is a Windows-Based system which prints templates on demand for the physician to complete by hand. There are over 180 chief complaint-specific templates (male, female and pediatrics). There are also nursing notes, procedure notes, a prescription writer and discharge instructions (available in English and Spanish). The NavigatorPC™ Solution is currently utilized in emergency departments across the United States with annual volumes ranging from 5,000 to 95,000.

Our latest product is NavigatorWeb™ , a comprehensive web-based emergency department information system(EDIS). This paperless system is comprised of the following modules: physician, nursing, tracking / status board, prescription writer, discharge instructions, physician order entry, administrative / reporting, coding and billing, and much more.

The Poseidon Group name comes from Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. Despite the fact that most healthcare reimbursement is driven by documentation, most nursing and physician staff are unaware of the environment in which they practice. The same analogy was made regarding the world in which we live. Just as Poseidon ruled the vast waters of the earth, our vision is to help our clients navigate through the mysterious waters of healthcare reimbursement by improved documentation.
